Ruben Studdard's album Soulful is a big disappointment. I still think he has the best voice from American Idol (reminds me of Luther Vandross,) but the CD is bland and a little corny at times. Only Justin Guarini's CD was worse.
I'm very anxious for the albums by Mindy Smith (folk/gospel artist with a little country,) and Katy Rose (a young artist who is more rock/alternative than pop.) They are two big new loves.
Bought Crash Test Dummies' God Shuffled His Feet - very good - the quirky lyrical portraits are refreshing.
