Tequila, Triple Sec, ice cubes and lime juice.

* 2 parts of tequila
* 1 parts orange flavored liqueur (Cointreau, Triple Sec)
* 1 part of fresh Lime juice

Fill the glass with ice cubes. Combine ingredients in an ice-filled shaker—shake until cold; then pour contents of shaker into glass.

Salt coating on the glass rim is optional and is often discouraged by the serious drinkers, but if you must: Moisten rim of glass with lime. Rotate rim against coarse salt, to salt the outside but not the inside of the rim.
