They said Louise was not half bad.
It was written on the walls and window shades. And everybody knew at times she cried, oh but women like Louise, they get by. (We all know that hookers love their profession) And everybody thought it kind of sad when they found Louise in her room. Louise rode home on the mail train. Too bad it ended so ugly, too bad she had to go this way. And the wind is blowing cold tonight so good night Louise, goodnight. For Celia Ann Blaylock. RIP Mattie.

4. Nope. Leo Kottke.
Actually Paul Seibel, but Leo dug it up in the 70's, and recorded it.

5. Well, I knew Paul Seibel wrote it.
But I didn't remember who did it first.
