I think one of my cats has passed away
I haven't seen Morrison for two days now and as hard as I look,I can't find a body or anything. I don't know what to do.He was an indoor cat.

1. I'm sorry
Has he been ill? They do like to hide when they're not feeling good. I hope you find him.

2. Oh no. I hope you find him.
Could he have gotten into a vent or something? Behind a washer or dryer?

9. Could he be trapped somewhere?
Maybe wedged up inside a recliner or something? A few times that I haven't been able to find our grandkitty around here, I panic. I even check the freezer because any door I open, he's there looking in with me.

I hope he's ok Roon.

I'm so glad he came back. Cats can give us heart attacks sometimes, can't they?

The cat came back the very next day! :)

I am so glad to hear this; sometimes cats will be gone for a month and show back up, grateful to know he is okay.

19. My youngest male Riktor went on a 'business trip'...
...that lasted eleven days. Was checking at the pound, ads in the local paper, here kitty kitty....nothing.

Senior cat was going NUTS...missed his little buddy and didn't like being an only cat...so decided to adopt another cat.
Place I was adopting from is SERIOUS about checking references, so it took a few days. Get a call that I check out OK and can bring New Kitty home tomorrow...and four o'clock in the morning, Riktor shows up.
Skinny, starving...hit the feeding station like a plague of locusts, ate for at least five solid minutes (that's a long time, really) before he even said "Hi Mom, I'm home".

Think he got locked in somewhere for a few days. He recovered, and doesn't go on business trips anymore.
So there I am, with three cats... adoption fee was non-refundable and had promised to take this new kitty.

Riktor was fascinated with her from the gitgo...walked right up to her- "Hi, my name's Riktor! What's yours?" Playing together within three days, and they act like littermates now, even with the 3-year age difference.

25. What a feel-good story!
I've had one of mine gone for three days, but I know that was a hunting trip. It's so exasperating when they show up (after you've put their toys, etc. away, thinking they're gone forever) and act like nothing happened.

Oh, jeeze, he's a cat.

Sorry, I thought it might be a son or something!

26. So glad he's back!
But you should know there's this thing cats do sometimes: they have a portal into another dimension, and sometimes they just disappear through it. And you can search and search, and call and call, and you can't find them anywhere. Then, all of a sudden, they just appear, as if from nowhere, and then when you're fussing all over them they give you this look, like "What??"

It's just a cat thing. Mine have done it, too.

29. One of my cats never made it back
I was living in an apartment with a kitten. Absolutely impossible to get out, but one of the other cats had been teaching it how to walk through walls so I think it ended up in another dimension or something.
