Larry King is an asshole! |
|
A little while ago, I made the mistake of tuning in to CNN, which was running "Larry King Live." King was interviewing Senator Tom Harkin, who is a Dean supporter, about the governor's coming in third in the Iowa caucuses.
Harkin replied, "In 1988, Michael Dukakis came in third in Iowa, and he got the nomination."
A pompous King replied, "And lost the election."
What a douche bag!

6. But it was a disingenuous remark. |
|
I didn't see the need for King to rub salt in the wounds of Dean's supporters. And mind you, I'm not necessarily a Dean supporter!

3. It's clear why this isn't in Latest Breaking News. |
|
Larry King's been a monumental douchebag for years.
In all fairness, he immediately added "I'm sorry, that was a low blow."

10. Once more for the broken-hearted.... |
|
King's remark was disingenuous and wholly uncalled for! Would he have said something similar to a Republican? I seriously doubt it.
If nothing else, though, King served to remind me of why I hardly ever watch TV.

Harkin gave him such a ripe setup... anyone would have taken it...
Maybe Harkin should have mentioned Clinton lost Iowa rather than Dukakis...

11. He's having guests on besides Ann Coulter and Linda Tripp? |
|
After seeing those two twits on King's show for the 5th or 6th time, I threw in the towel, and that was a long time ago. He used to constantly feature what's his name's wife, but she died in a plane crash on 9-11.
The only way the right-wing fundies DON'T get on King's program whenever they want is if they're embalmed.

he's got a face for radio, not TV.
I can't stand looking at his gross ugly mug. I'd rather look at Lieberman.
