for this is what the day is for me. My flowers in the desert of my existence.

i hope you guys had a great day, i couldn't have wished for more than to have the dwellerettes beside me for the evening, dinner, a few grand laughs, and the usual admonishments of how pitiful our political landscape has become. They help me forget how dismal it has become, and i never give up with my advice that i have gathered here to pass on to them. We are all the wiser for it.

1. wow, i guess i'm not amazed afterall

i post a goodwill to all the fathers like myself out there, include a pic of my 2 beautiful daughters and it garners ... 0 response.

now, i realize i'm no brad spitt, and my rep is probably not the most popular with the lounge crew, but jeez.

at one time, there would be numerous young dem bucks that would have at least goggled my daughters and made a few half-hearted hits and spouted some praise of their fair looks, but now?? ..zip.

spare me the sarcastic snipes and snarks. It's a disappointment alone to even attempt to share a positive place in my life with some/most of you. Excuse me for my criticisms, but it took some gut for me to post that, and this followup. I should have known.
