I am worried about Delenn--one of my furkits

It appears she might have some kind of growth on her upper lip. I have thought it wasn't serious, something that was irritating it was rubbing it and it was leaving a mark.

But I looked at it last night and it is rough, and appears to be less of an irritation spot than something possibly growing there. She's all black, and the spot on her upper lip is white and sticks out a bit.

Anyone have experience in this kind of area?

1. Maybe acne?

Lots of cats get zits (odd but true). Does it look like a zit? A call to your vet might be a good idea.

2. One of bertha's cats had something similar....

maybe she will see this and write in about it. I think she had to have it removed.

3. Dental abscess perhaps?

Will she let you look in her mouth? I hope it turns out to be nothing serious.
