1. What's their definition of "one-hit wonder"?
Buffalo Springfield?
Big Brother and the Holding Company?

Reminds me a little of the VH1 special recently that had Jimmy Hendrix on the list.

I like a lot of your list, but "In the Year 2525" --- sheesh.

Anything that doesn't have The Seeds "Pushin' Too Hard" on it is missing something.

5. hey, I was young . . .
and that song brings back memories of a good time in my life . . . don't think I'd go looking for it on an oldies album today, though . . .

as for Big Brother and Springfield . . . I'm guessing that those were their only top 40 hits, though they both obviously had a great deal of success with albums . . .

2. I can think of a few...
Romeo's Tune - Steve Forbert
Spirit in the Sky - Norman Greenbaum
In the Summertime - Mango Jerry
Ride, Captain, Ride - Blues Image
The Worst That Could Happen - Brooklyn Bridge
Green Eyed Lady - Sugarloaf
More Today Than Yesterday (Can't remember who did that one)

I also can't remember if Brooklyn Bridge ever had another hit, but I don't think they did.
