It's 3:30 AM and I'm covered with blood. Ask me anything. |
|
BTW, it's not human blood, I've been chopping up and packaging meat for the freezer.

various big cuts (averaging 25-30 pounds each piece), made into steaks, hamburger, stewmeat, roasts, et cetera. Around 250 pounds processed all together since 9 PM. I'm tired and my back hurts. On the other hand, it cost me about $1.75 a pound plus my time, and the knowledge of what exactly is in that hamburger.

5. Nope, went to the meat store... |
|
and bought three cases of coarsely butchered beef.
In other words, I brought home around 10 25-30 pound chunks of cow and cut it up myself.

and butchering meat is bloody work. Sometimes, you just have to start whacking at it with a cleaver, there's no other efficient way to do it.
If a blood spatter technician ever looked in my kitchen, they'd freak. :)

and own "more than 5" guns. Frankly, I don't know how many I own, since stuff gets "lost" in the safes. My gun collection is worth more than my house is, and ranges from small, cheap handguns weighing maybe 5 ounces to very expensive (and legal) fully operational WWI and WWII crew-served belt-fed automatic weapons that weigh up to 150 pounds when set up.
I don't hunt because I don't like "working" while out in the woods. I've been considering taking it up, though, for the cheap meat aspect of it.

I don't own any guns and it doesn't bother me if someone else owns them. Do you own any civil war guns?

including a Sharps Cavalry carbine and a Sharps and Hankins breachloading carbine. They aren't cheap.

Take some pictures and let us see them. I went to see Cold River last night and I love the Civil War era.
