I actually go to the Flint Islamic Center once in a while...a 15 year old boy with the voice of an angel sings the call to prayer. Very WELCOMING people: they came here to the UCC Church twice for fellowship.

I was getting spew from someone telling me how all muslims suck etc. ...Where are the MODS? I alerted twice.

I hear you on that one...I reeeeeelly don't see how arguing with the same people about the same issues over and over and over again is beneficial to anyone. I enjoy debating...less so than I used to but it's not a personal or emotional thing for me. The interpersonal stuff that just goes on and on...I don't see how there is any valor in 'typing at' people (that may just be my white trash roots) til one or the other of you 'wins', so the whole point of that is lost on me. I'm at the point of hiding that stuff anymore.

When I'm on here if I notice my heart rate start to rise, literally, I am out of that thread, post, or whatever. I had to learn the hard way no one or nothing here is worth it. I do think there are professional disruptors here, but I also think with the interpersonal stuff there are folks that just don't like themselves very much, and they are looking for a target to try to hash that out with. It won't be fixed that way, which is why the arguing just never, ever ceases, it's like trying to hammer a nail with a screwdriver.
