First time for our wedding (we were in the Netherlands too but married in New Mexico) and after we moved to the states, they've visited 3-4 times (Utah)

I am one of the very few blessed to really enjoy the ENTIRE family of my husband! :) The only time I lost it with them was before we moved to the States and we were living with them (husband, 8 month old and me). After 6 weeks of it, I went a little crazy :P

15. I was in Holland not too long ago...
The first phrase I learned was, "Ik spreak hain Naderlands!"

It served me well -- People spoke English to me after I said it.

Dui!

20. When I lived there, the phrase I used was: Het spijt me maar mijn Nederlands is niet zo goed - mag
ik verder in het engels spreken?

For the first 3 months, they accepted that - after that they were a little more anxious for me to learn Dutch (hello... 3 months??) :)

16. Are you having fun serving 6 meals a day
and doing dishes afterwards?

Breakfast, 11's, lunch, 2's, drinks, supper, munchies. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN!!!!!

My husband's brother and his family live in Friesland (Gorredijk) but his best friend is now on the city council of Waddinxveen (near Utrecht), there's an aunt in Zeist and one in Tilburg near de Efteling.

32. How do they feel about being legally able to own Mega Bloks?
Now that LEGO's unlawful monopoly in The Netherlands has been shut down, people are free to buy, sell, and own Mega Bloks without fear of legal reprisal.

How do the in-laws feel about it?
