14. Unfortunately..........

I no longer live in my beloved Montreal. Since I work for the Canadian diplomatic corps, I have had to move to the nation's capitol. Ottawa. The best thing about Ottawa is that it's only 2 hours away from Montreal so I go back frequently to visit family and friends. Okay.......Ottawa is not that bad. It's a very beautiful city, but it lacks the "danger" and "edge" of larger cities. Ottawa is very safe. That should tell you all you need to know about this city.

You know that when I first moved here I felt that I had been consigned to Siberia. I soon found out different. I was able to buy a 3,000 sq ft house for under 200K. I am within easy commuting distance to Montreal, Toronto, New York, Philadelphia, Boston, etc.

It's not that bad...........
