Inmate Uses Bible To Pound Ink Pen Into His Eye
<snip>

OCALA, FL (AP) -- A Marion County Jail inmate tried to commit suicide by hammering an ink pen in to his left eye with a Bible. Corrections officers tasered Lester Williams to prevent him from further harming himself Saturday night.

The 28-year-old Williams' eye was not seriously injured. After being treated at Shands hospital at the University of Florida, Williams was brought back to the jail, strapped down and placed on suicide watch.

He has been in the jail since 2003 on charges including sexual battery, false imprisonment and battery on an inmate and a law enforcement officer.

1. Now that is impressive!
not the first whack or even the second. When you have what it takes to go the distance and drive an ink pen even deeper into your eye...man that just says COMMITMENT!

I accidentally stabbed myself in the fingertip with a ballpoint last weekend and thought I was going to DIE, it hurt so bad (who knew a ballpoint was a weapon?)... I can't imagine purposely stabbing one's self - in the eye! with one ....

3. "But God", asked the man, "what about the part in the sand where there is only one set of tracks?"
"That is where I was busy finding something to hammer into your skull" replied The Lord
