2. I love shoes

I spent the day Sunday going through my shoes and trying them all on. It's been so long since I've been able to wear heels - I've been dealing with a bad knee for 2 years and it aches when I wear them.

I even cleaned out a couple of years ago - I had at least 30 pair and now I'm down to 14 or 15, I think (not counting everyday shoes, tennis shoes, etc.).

But the knee is improving and the shoes are coming out of the closet. :woohoo:

Actually, let me rephrase: how long can you walk in those things before you just have to stop?

Again, I'm sure they look great on you, I'm not saying anything to the contrary, I just have always wondered how women manage that for extended periods of time. Does wearing shoes like that ever hurt your back? It's got to be a pain on your calves...

I used to have a pair of work boots with a heel that increased my height maybe an inch and a half, and it drove me nuts. How tall at the heels on your new shoes, and is that the maximum height heel you wear - or do you even wear taller ones?

I had a pair like the Aldo. They were my favorite pair and would find a reason to wear them with just about everything.

The Naturalizer ones look good for an open toed heel. My husband wants me to get a pair and have not found ones I liked yet.

Super cute, I *really* like the Naturalizer ones, they're a bit retro-y. I love heels. I can't wear them for a damn because of a bad ankle and extreme klutziness (I fall down a lot), but I love to look at them (Eddie Izzard wears heels better than I EVER could, damn him)!
