6. I am perhaps unusual in that I remember

when I was uncircumsized. We (twins) were so tiny (born 2.5 months early) that our parents decided it wasn't safe to do when we were newborns, and they just didn't get around to it until we were five years old.

It hurt like hell for days. I remember waking up from the anesthesia in the hospital and screaming at the top of my lungs.

I doubt I would ever have a child circumsized. If the mom really, really wanted it done for religious reasons I'd consider it.

11. I chose to be circumcised as an adult.

I imagine that circumcision was pretty standard with boys my age, as I was the only uncircumcised boy I knew growing up. I still remember junior high being the only uncut kid in a gym class of 20 boys, which was no picnic. Kids that age will take any difference that you have and use it to tear you down in the name of self-preservation, and I was teased relentlessly. As a young adult, this (along with other things) led to a serious problem with negative self-image and some sexual dysfunction due to those insecurities.

At the age of 25, I chose circumcision as an optional procedure to help with some of those issues I was having. The surgery was pretty simple and the recovery wasn't so bad (of course I may have a higher pain tolerance than most). On doctors orders I had to abstain from all sexual activity for 6 weeks, including masturbation, and that was probably the hardest part (no pun intended).

I absolutely know that I made the right choice for my situation, and I have no regrets. However, as circumcision is becoming less popular and standard, if I had a son I'm not sure that I would have him circumcised as a matter of course. That is something to which I would have to give some serious consideration. If I had to make the choice today, I would probably choose to not have him circumcised, and let him make that decision for himself when he is mature enough to make such a choice.
