1. In how long?
That's a lot of calories to burn.

3. 90 minutes?!?!
DAMN! The longest I do the elliptical is 35. But then, I'm one of those geeks that tries to keep to the 30 minute time limit. I also mix in weights though. I try to keep my total workout to around an hour to hour and a half.

6. Yeah, how did you do that?
2,000 in 60 minutes?

You must have had the resistance pegged to maximum, and still been going at 75 RPM!

9. BTW, congrats to you TXlib!
I've been trying to do an hour on my trainer every day. Unfortunately, I can only monitor my cadence. I guess if I looked around, I could find some sort of mathematical calculation for calories burned.

12. Ask, and it shall be given unto you.....

I calcuated that I burn between 19 and 24 calories a minute when I'm riding.

13. Thanks!
I bookmarked that. I guess it's a good enough estimate. Do you have one that would translate cadence to mph? My cyclometer is hooked to my front, not rear, wheel.

Enter your sprocket sizes and other items and it'll give you your speed...
I have a Cateye Astrale that reads the rear wheel.

11. Actually,
I looked at my log and it it was in 75 minutes. I had maximum or close to maximum resistance/incline at high intensity almost the whole time (except for the last five minutes) and took it down to mid/mid high occasionaly for a minute or two when I needed to slow down. I was also pretty light headed for about 45 minutes afterwards and wont do it again. Just one of those times I was in a good groove and decided to push myself beyond a rational level.

15. I burned a cheeseburger on the stairmaster
The shit was everywhere, cheese running down the console, grease on the pedals. The instructions didn't say anything about not cooking with butane :eyes:
