8. Is that not included in the capacity? |
|
ballparks.com lists Fenway's capacity as 38,805.

9. Depends on who's counting the stats, I presume. |
|
I don't think you'll find an MLB sanctioned definition on the matter.

7. Giants did it in 2000 according to the same charts. |
|
Maybe the count includes SRO tickets.
Sports statistics are weird.

11. Official night time capacity is around 38K. The average in the chart is under 37K |
|
Sports stats are weird. As Vash wrote, it may depend on the definition of capacity.
All I know is that it's much easier and cheaper to watch the Sox play in the Oakland coliseum and when they do the place is a sea of red. I'm convinced that Sox fans outnumbered A's fans at some games.

12. I dunno if this still holds, but |
|
a couple years ago, the Sox were the highest-priced game in both leagues. Someone developed an index for a family of four that included tickets, parking, food and souvenirs, and at Fenway it came to a little more than $200.

But she weighs nine pounds, and I can't stuff 10 pounds of tuna into her.
:P
On the other hand, I've never tried.
