2. They're so backed up, there was a Congressional hearing
yesterday, iirc, to take a plunger to Secretary Rice. :(

3. I met Henny Youngman when I was 6

at the Holiday Inn in Indiana some where a long time ago. My parents never let me talk to strangers but when this guy grabbed me to sit with him they were smiling and saying go ahead. I was confused told him I ordered a hot dog and moved on.

You can get your passport expedited in 6 weeks but it will cost you. With the new homeland security shit it will take up to 6-10 weeks. I know someone in my office that was 3 days away from having to cancel a trip to England because of passport problems non of which were their fault. Homeland got their 6 year old daughter confused with a 54 year old from NYC and it was a mess. Moral of the story do not wait.

4. In '03, ours only took a week or so..
Actually my husband's took a bit longer since his birth certificate was rejected, and we had to send off to Kansas for a "better' one :)..Mine was from an Air Force base, so it was perfecto :)
