Whatever the hell I did to wrench my back is totally unknown to me, but Jeez Louise.. I forgot how bad an "out" back can be.. It's been at least 15 years since this ole back went "out"..until last Monday (expletive deleted)

Vicodin.Naproxyn.Ibuprofen. hot baths..feet up..exercises..

Tried it all..

Actually it is a bit better, but I still walk like Quasimodo :)

This is NOT a plea for medical advice.,. just a pathetic cry for sympathy :) :hi:

1. Sorry you're out of commission, but, just wanted to say,
your Jesus with Dinosaur just made me guffaw or chortle or chuckle or some such sound ...

2. As someone who has dealt with back problems for years, you have
lots of sympathy from me! One time it was so bad, I couldn't stand up, literally. I crawled around my apartment for several days until I could get in to see the doc. It was horrid.

I'm glad it's starting to get better, and hope the healing speeds up.

3. ugh
bad backs suck. Mine's gone out three times in the last couple years, once really really badly - lasted a couple weeks.

I wish I had some advice, but nothing worked for me, either.

4. My hypochondriac-husband keeps saying "Go to the doctor"
what he does not understand, is that I KNOW what that means..

wait in the waiting room for ages..have a doctor poke me and say "does it hurt here?"

he'll give me a prescription that I will have to wait for too, and it will most likely be for something I already have ..

and I am too uncomfortable to go through all that hassle..

did i say i was also stubborn :P
