My daughter and The Three Rs

My 7-year-old daughter just came to me and said, "Can you say the three Rs? 'Cause I already know what they are."

I said, "Reading, writing, and 'rithmetic."

She answered, "No. It's reduce, reuse, recycle."

1. You need to teach her better.

Everybody knows it's reading, writing, and rithmetic.

That was 15 years ago.

I just recently heard those "r"'s. And at least they actually start with "r"'s. 'Rithmetic! I thought that's how it was spelled until I reached junior high. :rofl:
