Finally, one of my teams won a championship in my lifetime. It hasn't happened again, in any sport, but now I have hope.
We threw our one and only Super Bowl bash that year. Green and gold vodka jello shots, brats and brats and brats on the webber, an assortment of cheeses that would make a Frenchman cry, and assorted foods colored green and gold. We did drink Oregon beer, however. And normally I wouldn't trade my Tillamook or Bandon cheese for anything from good old Wisconsin, but...
Anyway, thanks for the memory.
