Anyone watching "Lil Bush" on Comedy Central?
I've never seen it before -- it's a hoot!

1. I saw the one the other night about his mother and Cheney in the sack.
I am no fan of this administration, but I found it to be tacky in the extreme, tasteless, and frankly, not very funny.
The jokes were all mean-spriited and much worse than anything the other side has ever said about Clinton/Monica/Hillary, in my opinion.
We can do better. I will not watch it. Not my taste.

2. This one wasn't as tasteless -- no sex involved

8. There was to some extent
Bush Sr's remark about the Kissingers' swingers party, where he said they better get there soon or all the good keys will be gone... "I don't want to end up with that skank Ann Coulter again."

Since when is sexual humor tasteless? Have the Puritans taken over DU? Now I know what Stephanie Miller means about the humorless, the stick, and where the sun doesn't shine...

10. I missed that part, but I would have found it funny
I thought the whole thing was a hoot. I don't think sexual humor is necessarily tasteless, but the other poster seemed to think it was. Stephie cracks me up every day.

3. I agree ...
My first reaction was tacky and tasteless. Then I got mad that something so serious could be made light of...these guys should be on trial, not in a cartoon.

I questioned my sense of humor though...glad to hear another's opinion.

5. No, I haven't. I avoid watching Bush, little or otherwise....
...frankly, I've never recognized him as president, and I like to keep it that way.

7. That is why in the show...
He is called the "Resident of the United States". It's good satire... when he goes nuke-crazy, not only does he take out North Korea, he throws in the Constitution and Bill of Rights also.

This is stuff we have known all along, but many in the 70% disapproval range haven't quite grasped. It shouldn't be Iraq alone which causes so many to despise him - it should be the ENTIRE catalogue of ills. It's an animated political cartoon, with some 70's-style Saturday morning kitsch thrown in.

Beats the fuck out of the increasingly right-wing South Park these days.

6. I cannot STAND hearing * speak or any cartoon that sounds like him.
I have to mute the damn commercials for it.
I TRIED to watch it once and found it too annoying.

9. Yes to the original, no to the series
I liked the couple of cartoon shorts I saw (one was about cafeteria hot dogs or something, and it was clever). But ten minutes into the series opener, I got bored and gave up.

11. Normally I would . . .
. . . but anything that makes war criminal bastard Fuhrers and their cabal, STILL president'n and STILL not in jail, seem loveable and humorous leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

14. I liked the promos, so I tuned in.....
but overall, I don't find that there's anything noteworthy about it. It's all shock-gags and dead-horse beatings. I don't think it's BAD- just ordinary.
