:D

She's a Brick.....House
She's mighty mighty
She's letting it all hang out.

There's a ton of funky jamz on this platter. Earth Wind & Fire, Isaac Hayes, Rick James, Parliament - stuff you never hear on the radio anymore. Kung Fu Fighting, Super Freak, Jungle Boogie... Woo!

Top that. :P

1. I have that
Hey, if you love funk, you should get the new Tower of Power album. The Oakland Zone. http://www.bumpcity.com Also, go on over to Strokeland Records and listen to the Strokeland Super Band and Dr. Funk. Dr. Funk is incredible.

Go listen to some music. You'll be glad you did. Tell Andy that Alice B. sent you.

and if you like funk, surely you have heard of Average White Band and The Meters. The Meters "Live on The Queen Mary" kicks! Good luck finding it.

Edit: How about some Jamarouqi? (spelling issue for this band name)

4. It sure does have AWB
No War though. But I think the theme song for 'Shaft' makes up for it. :D

5. Nothing makes up for the absence of Low Rider
Still sounds like something I'll have to get. I've been meaning to *ahem* obtain a good funk compilation CD for a long time.

6. That hair!
Those clothes! :D

Like Robin Williams said on one of his albums:

"Leroy's badass funkified school of soul!"
"Be instantly well hung!" :D
