CONSUMER ADVISORY: Coca-Cola Zero Vanilla sucks big time.

I just don't understand it.

Coca-Cola Zero: Good. Tastes more like Coke Classic than Diet Coke does.

Diet Coke with vanilla syrup added: Gooood. A lot of diner-type restaurants offer it, plus Waffle House.

Coca-Cola Zero with fuckifIknow "vanilla flavor" added: OH DEAR GOD WHAT IS THIS?.



How can they mess up vanilla syrup? Even sugar-free vanilla syrup?

I'm actually going to return this two-liter bottle for a refund. Geez is it awful.

Cherry vanilla is good, but not the straight stuff. Thanks for the warning. We don't have the stuff here, but I'll soon be where they do.

5. I'm an almost total purist....

The flavor of coke or any other soft drink is enough for me- Adding vanilla, cherry, sandalwood, elderberry, etc... just makes it nasty and fake-tasting.

Same with potato chips. If I want barbeque flavor, I'll go get some ribs.
