Since it's going to be 114 here today, I'm not feeling particularly blessed.

Candle Night: Shed Some Light On Conservation by Dominic Muren, Chicago, USA on 06.17.05 Take Action
This Summer solstice, you can join Japan in its quest for increased energy conservation. Candle Night, begun in 2003 by a group of Japanese NGOs, is intended to raise awareness about the amount of energy that we use, versus the amount of energy we really need. Participating companies and individuals agree to spend two hours in candlelight on the evening of June 18th. Last year, over 6000 major Japanese businesses and structures turned their lights off, and this year is slated to be even bigger. And there's nothing stopping the whole world in solidarity against excessive energy use. Hopefully, spending an hour or two without lights will help people understand how lower energy use doesn't need to mean lower quality of life.

Busy all day getting ready to marry 3 couples tonight.
I am not a big fan of summer, the days will be getting shorter now.
Fall will be here soon.
Hope you had a great day. :hi:
