I saw her at a comedy club a few months ago and she talked a lot about how she was fat and how she diets, then sabotages herself. Meanwhile she is not only thin, she has NO ASS I sat on her ass side so I know.

Sadly the rest of her set wasn't really funny either. For some reason she is obsessed with Mr. Darcy from Prde and Prejudice. She had a big screen where she projected part of the movie. Marc Maron was much better (and was very nice to me after the show) and so was the emcee I know from doing comedy in the past.

It's too bad.

Like when she's with friends and they want to order pizza she always pays cause then she can order more pizzas than they need cause she's afraid there won't be enough for her. Then she says she only eats once a day for diet purposes. As I said before, she is thin and has a flat, flat ass. It wasn't the only thing she talked about in an hour set but it was telling.

She looked good. She looked fine. She looked thin. She didn't think so.

She doesn't have to live up to my expectations either but she was always so adamant about her look and saying she wasn't going to get caught up in that. It looks to me like she's had work done and I think it's tragic that she felt she had to do that. I've been through the anorexia and bulimia and compulsive eating. I know first hand how shitty your life is when that's going on. I'm sad that she seems to have fallen into that hole.

EDIT: Oh, wait. I think I know how. There were reruns all last week (or the week before, I forget) and I never watch the reruns. At least, I think there were reruns--the description, when I clicked Info to see who the guests were, didn't say "New" all last week (week before?) and unless the digital cable was being a dirty dirty liar, that's probably why I didn't watch.

Maybe they'll stick her interview On Demand. What was the date of her appearance? I can't find a clip on either comedycentral.com or YouTube, although I must admit I have no idea how to search through the archive of clips on Comedy Central's website, since I rarely visit there. I did a search for "Janeane Garofalo" on comedycentral.com and the only Daily Show clip was one where she had blond hair.

EDIT again: Are you sure she was on there recently? I just checked the list of the Daily Show guests from 2007 and she isn't listed. I also checked 2006 and even 2005 and she's not on those lists, either.

EDIT yet again: Wait, you didn't mean The Henry Rollins show, did you? I saw that one. I've seen all of her Disquisitions on that show--in fact, she's the reason I started watching it in the first place, and now I love that show.

2. I knew Janeane had become blond back in 2004--I saw her on Leno and she revealed her platinum tresses and I was BEYOND disappointed. However, I actually didn't know myself that she'd gone back to black until late 2006/early 2007 when I saw a pic of her from 2005 with dark hair. (Not black, just dark brown, but at least not blond.)

She also had blond hair way, way back in 1993 for a little while.
