Dan O'Dowd should'a been fired years ago. He's the kiss of death. If he managed to put together a good team this year, it's purely by accident.

Another thing I hope the front office is noticing is that not only are fans returning to Coors Field because of the Rox improving record, but, IMHO, because they've kept players around for more than one year. In the past five years, it seemed the whole roster was changing every season. That didn't allow time for fans to bond with the players. Now that some guys (besides Helton) have been around for awhile, people are starting to sport some Tulowitzki and Atkins jerseys and start pulling for the players instead of just showing up for beer. Now that I'm home from school I can hopefully start heading to some games in Denver next month.

Haven't been there, but ya'll have a wonderful park. I have mlbtv, and I really have enjoyed watching the Rockies this year. Matter of fact, I've enjoyed watching the NL west this year as a whole. Very good teams, and a good race. I really believe that the Rockies would win the NL central easily if they were there (hell, what am I saying. Even my DRays would have a chance).

8. Here's the thing:

My friend in Toronto who accompained me to multiple Jays-Red Sox games at "Rogers Centre" :eyes: noted that the park was showing its age. It's hard not to agree. The thing about Coors is that it's built to look old, so even as it ages it's hard to notice. That aspect aside, it's really nice in there. I've been able to enjoy seats all over the stadium, from the outfield stands to 2nd row just to the left of the plate (long story about how those fell into our laps), and every seat's a good one. I gotta say that "Rogers Centre" :eyes: offers perhaps the best value in the league on two-buck-Tuesdays when you can get upper deck seats behind the plate for that low low price. They've got really good views from up there.
