I had all three kids at Rochester General. Only because that is where my OB/Gyn's are. I had varying experiences each time.

but I think only time will tell. He actually has feeling down his right arm and no more tingly prickles in his fingers. That has to be a good sign.

I thought the hospital was clean and pleasant enough, but Mr Gen had to wait a long time for a nurse to come after he accidentally knocked his IV out reaching for his puke pan. It's far for us, too. We have to drive up to Rideway and cross over Lake Avenue. It takes a good 45 - 50 minutes compared to 25 minutes for us to get to Strong.

I saw the birthing center when he was being discharged. It's beautiful!

I never did get to spend much time in the nice birthing center. All three ended up being c-sections. I did get to spend labor in two of them though! :) I'm sure it is nice and relaxing to be able to recover in those rooms.

We were up on the 6th floor -- I watched it bouncing off the lower roofs.

After it passed the clouds that had moved off to the East were the most magnificent Cumulus-Nimbus display that I have ever seen. Mr Gen was asleep, so I was walking around the grounds admiring the heavens.
