3. Funny story.

Last year, my FIL passed away in his sleep. (that's not the funny part)

Anyway, my friend calls to tell me that she has to take one of her cats to be euthanized. I ask how much it costs and she says that Dr. Bill will do it for free if it has been a patient.

Me: "I wonder if I can get Grandpa down there and have Dr. Bill put him to sleep?"

In reality, the poor guy had passed probably 10 hours prior.

We must be a sick bunch down here because everyone thinks that story is a hoot and I think he would have thought so, too.
