he is a tri-colored Shetland Sheepdog, or Sheltie. Some people call them miniature collies. I have a girl dog that looks just like him. :hi:

9. The one I saw at the park was bigger than a Sheltie

but with the same tri-colored coat. I lurve tri-colored dogs. Couldn't figure out what kind of dog this other one was. Your fellow is very regal looking. :-)

15. I didn't realize collies could be tri-colored

This guy was a bit smaller than a full-size collie but could have been an older puppy. He was very frisky and alpha!

16. Yes, there are tri-color...

collies, but they seem to be relatively rare. Also, I've seen some Shelties that are so big, they look like a collie.

Some dogs are SO happy. When I was very young, we had a mixed breed dog like that. She was very playful.

45. My roommate just got a Shiba Inu puppy two weeks ago

His name is George... I don't have a picture of him, but here is what he looks like:



He's very sweet but right now he is fighting me for my lunch (heh heh) he always gets at least half.

Someday I want one of my own when I get my own place and don't work such long hours! :)

He gets walked every day at 5-5:30 a.m., by me or Mr. Dinger. We live in the country, so there's plenty of space to run, but he likes to chase cars. I can't seem to train him out of that.

I have a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, and she is very smart, like a Border collie or Australian shepherd. She is nearly 12, and we think she's going deaf, because she often seems not to be able to hear us. But then, sometimes -- like when we drop chunks of meat in her bowl -- she hears just fine and comes a'runnin'. She has decided to just ignore us when it suits her. :eyes:
