4. My Great grandfather was in the Civil War.
I'm from a couple generations of fathers having kids late in life. I was born in the '60's.

My dad was born in the '10's. And his dad was born not long after the civil war.

Kind of makes the head spin to think about it sometimes.

5. My great grandparents were alive 100 years ago
They are now dead. Deader than a door nail, pushing up daisies, dancing with the devil, smooching Jesus' ass, giving God a big fat what-for, and feedin' the critters.

6. I don't guess its really proper to say
that mine are feedin' the critters as you so eloquently euphamisezed. Any critters that they fed have long since been feeedin other critters. They are, however, deader than a door nail.

On another note, they were alive before they were dead ... or so it would seem.
