Where are they now?
I was just watching one of those infommercials for DVDs from the Dean Martin Show. Where is Ann Margret these days? Goodness, that ad brought back some memories. A young Goldie Hawn, Satchmo, Johnnie Carson, Flip Wilson, Lucille Ball, Jimmy Stewart...

Entertainment has changed so much.

4. They were some great entertainers.
Gosh, Lena Horne and Ella Fitzgerald were on that ad too. Zero Mostel and Jonathan Winters. Don Rickles.

5. Remember the Memorex ad with Ella breaking the glass?
One of the best ads ever.

6. Ann Margret performed around here a year or two ago
But I don't remember if she just sang or was in a show.

7. I agree that entertainment has changed a lot in recent years. There aren't many of the "old school"
entertainers left. I hate to see any of them pass away as each death severs another link to the "Golden Age" of Hollywood. Some of my favorites who are still around are: Tony Bennett, Joey Bishop, Ed McMahon, Carol Burnett, Carl Reiner, Bob Newhart, Jerry Stiller, Anne Meara. Did I miss any one? I also consider Billy Crystal and Bette Midler to be two contemporary entertainers in the same mold as those from the early years of Hollywood.

8. If it's distributed by Guthy-Renker, don't bother.
They're way overpriced, and the discs always pop out of their holster in the containers -- which are cheaply made.

They claim satisfaction is guaranteed, but after reporting more than ONE scratched disc, they cancel your account claiming you're a bad customer.

Well, if they put out products that wouldn't get scratched and unplayable, people wouldn't be sending so many discs back to them. Cretins.
