little memories
this was posted in the lounge a few months ago, but i thought it was a great idea...

we all remember the big things, but what about the little things?

there was a night that the 'old crew' went to the bar before hitting a party. my best friend and i were in pissy moods, so on the way to the party, i pulled over so we could run through some sprinklers on the side of the road.

not much, but it made the night so much better...

come on lounge, what little memories do you have?

1. I wouldn't call it little (BTW, this is G-rated), but
mum had woken me up at 4AM and drove me to Lake Phalen so we could look at the Ice Palace. (1986). It was so beautifully lit. Easily the best lit of all the ice palaces ever built...

i went to visit my seester in portland, oregon in august 2005 and we took a day to canon beach.

on the way home, we cranked up the music and sang at the top of our lungs to barenaked ladies and cake. it was one of the first times we were friends and not rivals

7. i don't even remember a lot of the big things...
my memory is a hall of doors that are mostly shut and locked and the key is denied me. only a few doors remain open.
the locked doors lie in the darkness.
i am afraid to know what's behind them.
