Laughing Gulls, well, make me laugh (Dial-up beware)

These gulls were all over South Padre. They were very used to humans and one could get very close. If they thought you had food, they would get even closer.

Brrr. The water is cold.


A little too much shrimp cocktail this morning.

I was using my new lens with my tripod set very low to the gound. I was probably about 15-20 feet away.

Laughing gulls are fun, though they seem "mini" to me, after the gulls I'm used to up north.
