Our fire company (my son is Captain)
went to Vermont yesterday to pick up
a 1951 Pierce pumper.....
just found out it was number 11
in a line of 38.....

It was OUR FDs until they sold it Vermont
WAY back when

Vermont let us know they were selling it and asked if we wanted it back.. again....
Of course our idiots said yes :toast: :silly:
so off they went to pick it up with a dump truck and trailor......
I went tonight to see it.....
all i could think of is

IF THIS TRUCK COULD TALK
what wonderful stories would it tell me.....
I will try to get a picture,.......


QUESTION
We have to try to raise $50,000.00 to refurbish and clean it up

any ideas on how to raise money
we a;ready are working on an amicable
decision

or beg borrow or steal money from local philanthropists in order to have a memorial plaque, or plaques on the fire station, or truck itself.
