This is what my life has been reduced to

My dog is getting old. You know how old people sometimes just move their mouth for no apparent reason...like a rapid opening an closing of their mouth with no sounds coming out? Well, my old dog will stare at me for an hour and do that.

This morning, I'm in bed...woken up by her staring at me with her flapping jaw an inch from my mouth and those evil eyes staring into mine.

me: "Your breath stinks"
her: stare and flapping jaw
me: "Did you kill anyone while I was sleeping"?
her: rapid flapping jaw while pawing my face
me: "you bitch"
her: "woof"
me: "gimme a hug"
her: she throws her body against my shoulder
