I walked in one of our local parades
today with our county Democrats. We try to hit all the parades in the local festivals every summer. My husband and I always walk in front of the vehicles, and carry the banner (see the picture).

This parade left something to be desired in terms of organization. And they tried to make the Democrats walk dead last, behind the horses!

I objected to the parade monitor. I told her we were on foot, and were not going to march through horseshit, just because we are Democrats. She relented, and put us second to last.

That's what I get for living in a red county.
