You know you're over it (not in the sense of medically over it, but in the sense of psychologically over it) when you go to the doctor HOPING they will give you a big shot so you can be medically over it. For today, anyways. :P

My favorite is the shot AND the two medrol dosepaks.

I am familiar with the giant adrenaline shot, but that was not to happen today, sadly. :(

5. Basically it is prednisone

in decreasing daily dosages.

Two dosepaks = two days on each dose (6 pills for two days, then 5 pills for two days then 4...etc. until you are down to 1 pill for two days).

I am ALL TOO familiar with these dosepaks you speak of, having a large jar of prednisone on my shelf of meds as we speak. :P

7. The pneumonia I had in April and May netted me 20 pounds of weight gain

from the damn prednisone.
