I was in the city on Saturday...the man and I went. We had such a good time.
We ate lunch in the Bronx at this little Spanish place we always go to then we hit up Christopher St. for the rest of the day...we had dinner there and walked on the pier. It was awesome!

Then we went to Esquelita, this Latin Club. We spent the night but then left in the morning because I had to work Sunday night.

Looks like you two had fun! :hi: Next time, I'll plan a trip to visit you. This time it was a trip for me and the man.

Looks like a lot of fun.

I was in a gay pride parade by accident once. In Cleveland there is a bridge to cross to get to Lakewood, a streetcar "suburb." I used it every day in the early 1990s to go home from law school. One day as I was crossing the bridge, I saw a bunch of people in front of me marching. As I got close, I saw the rainbow flags and stuff. In addition to marchers there were some improvised floats. It was not a big parade and the police did not close the road for them. Anyway, I ended up following them over the bridge. So people on the side of the bridge who were watching started to wave at me and shout encouraging things. I felt like a bit of a phony since I was not part of the parade and was a bit embarassed by the idea that the spectators might think that my contribution to the parade was a rusted-out 1977 Chevy. Well, the only thing I could do was waive back and continue to follow the group to the end of the bridge when I went a different direction to get to my apartment.

gay pride is a wonderful day for us, its about the only day in the year that people look at us and smile, because they are happy to see a gay couple in love.

mostly people frown and condemn our love.
