Are we going to have a Joanie's Law or a Myrtle's Law when Joanie or Myrtle die in childbirth?

I'm very sorry that young woman died. I real tragedy. It'll only compound the tragedy if we force thousands of women to go through unwanted pregnancies because a drug killed one young woman.

3. What about the woman whose skin peeled off
due to an allergic reaction to an antibiotic? Why not introduce a law banning this antibiotic and name it after her?


But, you say her condition is extremely rare, and that for almost all who take this antibiotic, it relieves suffering?

Whereas with RU-486 it...oh wait. nevermind.

4. Don't suspend RU-486. Try the American tradition of suing the producer
of the pharmaceutical via strict products liability law. Why paint with such a broad brush? The drug has been tested and has been proved to be safe enough for prescription to many women who have not died.
