Washington, DC - Jill June, the director of Planned Parenthood of Greater Iowa is facing contempt of court charges and possible arrest for refusing to allow the Sheriff’s Department to gain access to records of women who have received pregnancy tests at Planned Parenthood clinics during the past year.


The Sheriff’s Department is seeking the mother who gave birth to a baby boy and then dropped the infant off at a county recycling center where his body went through a shredding machine. The tattered remains of this boy were found on May 30

one wonders, if the mother had been to PP for a test, why not an abortion?

I'm torn, especially considering that the source of this story is a bit on the loony fundie side... would the HUGE list of women who had tests over the past year do any good?

Are they looking for the father too?

why do they think the mother went to PP at all?

too many questions for me... and surely no answers from the TVC!

The last thing I would want is for some joker to read my file and get some sort of dirt to use, even if they say it is for a good cause.
I hate the thought of what happened to the child, but my medical records have nothing to do with it!

4. This is sick

Infanticide is pretty heinous to say the least. However, that has nothing to do with the hundreds, if not thousands, of women who went to the clinic who deserve to have their medical information kept confidential.
