Older Moms - Did you have your babies after 40?
Just curious, I know people who've given birth way after 40, but the "general consensus" is that it's so difficult after 40. I've also heard that "accidental" pregancies for women over 40 is only second after those for teenage girls.

Hmmmm.

I would still like to have a kid, and I'm in my late 30's. :) Have to find a guy first of course. ;)

1. I had mine at 31 and 34, but I don't buy into the "less energy" thing so much
I'm 41 now, and I don't feel less energetic than I did 10 years ago.

A friend of mine had her first baby at 40 last fall, and she is pregnant again. She also has MS, so my hat is off to her.

Good luck!

4. Don't know about 'young'. They do keep you broke.
For about 21 years.

5. One and only at 40, just in time
to help us celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. Daughter starts high school this fall. Who knew at my age I'd be getting re-acquainted with rock music and shopping at "Hot Topic"? It's sometimes exhausting, but also fun. If you have the opportunity, go for it.

10. Physically it's hard even on a man.
I am an older father and I can tell you that even for father's it's physically demanding.

On the upside I truly believe you have perspective that you cannot have if you are younger.
