WTF?

So I was sitting here reading posts, and suddenly, I wasn't viewing the board I selected; but found myself redirected to a "peeing girls" website.

Can someone explain why, please; and tell me how I can avoid this most unpleasant diversion from occurring again? :grr:

Get Adaware, Spybot, and a good Anti-virus system....run all of them right now.

10. I just ran Ad-aware and Spybot yesterday afternoon

and nobody's been online since then except me.

Here's an odd thing...I just now attempted a virus scan with Norton 2000 (I know...it's probably too old, right?) and it putzed out on me in mid-scan.

Think I've got a bug?

9. Earlier today, " new window disease" attacked.

When I tried to reply to a post, I couldn't type in the subject window. I noticed that a new window had opened after I clicked reply. New windows kept opening, even when I tried to go back.
I had to restart the computer.
All is well now.

I had a similar problem a few days ago. Tried going to DU but got hijacked. Along with the aforementioned spybot and adaware, empty the cookies and clear out the temporary internet files. Get rid of the system temp files too.
