I get carded all the time, and I am almost 40. So many people don't believe and I just snicker inside when the person says they are the same age as me and they really look way older that that...

14. I was at a club a couple of weeks ago...

I was with a friend who had her prescription pills in her purse, when the bouncer was checking her purse, he pulled out the pills and demanded to see her drivers license to see if the name matched up on the pill bottle...my friend was quite pissed about that. Bouncers get a little too big for their britches sometimes

in this world of identity theft if a bouncer or anybody else tries to seize your ID you need to call the cops immediately and explain what's going down

i imagine a bouncer could make a pretty good bonus selling these to those who will misuse them, don't you?

15. it isn't a compliment any more (we ID under 40 is the name of the program)

even if they think you're 40 they're supposed to check your ID, i get carded semi-regularly, as recently as 6 weeks ago for example, and i only wished i looked like i was 40, much less 21

it just doesn't mean what it used to mean, if you are not hopelessly wrinkled and fat, you're going to get carded sometimes because of this program

it's actually annoying and if someone ever tries to confiscate your ID, you should call the police immediately -- seriously
