A champion mouser

For each of the last three evenings, my Carl has brought me a...ah..."trophy." He's been very proud.

And smart too, he's lulling the rodents into a false sense of security. Right?

2. I like the eyebrow whisker of his that's bent... lol

we have one fella (we have 7 cats) who, just as his eyebrow whiskers are long and luxurious, manages to headbutt something so that his whiskers are askew, broken or dangling.

What a very good boy Carl is, though! We had one female several years ago - she was an old girl when she came to us but was an amazing mouser. The basement and garage were pretty much mouse-free within about 2 weeks of her moving in, and she moused 'til the day she died (at an old, fat and happy 15).

4. Well Carl is an old, fat, happy 16 year old and is still going strong

Still pretty spry, but I'm not taking his companionship for granted. I appreciate him more and more every day.

5. Oh sure, and leave my house unpurrrrtected?

I don't hardly do ANYTHING 3 days in a row anymore,
and I'm not nearly as old as Carl.

I don't know what he was doing last night. I guess even Alexander the Great took a day off once in a while.

10. No, I do not live in a barn

He just brought me his 5th mouse in 6 days. I don't know where these are all coming from. It's beginning to remind me of the movie, "Willard."
