Chris Benoit's son had Fragile X Syndrome and took growth hormone injections |

That may explain some of the scripts that were found in the family's home. http://www.pwtorch.com/artman/publish/article_20656.shtml

I keep digging up news, trying to find something in this that suggests it isn't as bad as it seems. Something that can explain this. And instead the details make it more and more grim. It's truly sad.

That's awful news....
Having a child that is permanently affected is very hard for the parents to deal with...
It could have stressed their marriage to the breaking point...
I'm not excusing Benoit for what he allegedly did....
But, merely trying to explain it, to find a reason for it...
It just breaks my heart.....

3. I don't think it was any one thing |

I see people in the media and others trying to blame steroids etc. This is deep stuff. Probably a combination of lots of things. So many factors, but nothing that could ever fully explain it, you know? It's heartbreakingly tragic.

6. I think the reality is |
|
That there is going to be so very many factors that go into the making of a tragedy, we will never find one simple way to explain it. Media, WWE, police, etc., all want and try to portray this as a simple case of this or that. I think that's deceptive. I think the reality is that many many things went into the making of this tragedy, more than we will ever know. I say this not to discourage you or get you to stop doing this, but more so that you can find some comfort if there are no more answers. I want to understand this too, because I had so much respect for Benoit's ring work, and wished he had been given more time or shots at titles, then left to the side so that other more charismatic wrestlers could have their glory.
It's tragic and horrible and should never have happened. I am sad, and angry and confused by his choices in this. But I too want to know why, why did you do this Chris? Maybe we can stop the next one then. Or at least let go of our hurt and anger over this one. Peace, Wetzelbill.

5. I am having a hard time wrapping my head and heart around this |
|
senseless tragedy. My brother wrestled Benoit in a high school competition. He was good even back then.
I am wondering if anyone had seen any signs of what was about to happen? Why did the co-workers get their text messages on Monday? What could have been done with for this family?
This is such a tragedy and all I am seeing is crap on Paris Hilton.
I hope that we find out more. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Benoit family which still lives in Edmonton, AB.
