...I take Mr Bjornsdotter to my favorite jewelry store and have the sales clerk write down exactly what I want with the size or I send him a copy of a page from their website with the size. If that doesn't work, I buy it myself.

As far as flowers, I keep telling him not to buy them but he doesn't listen. I rather have a new rose bush for the garden than a dozen roses.

We went down yesterday to hang out on the beach and hit ladies night at one of our favorite bars...which is always a good time when there is a large group of us.

So it is not an issue with me. I guess to win my heart an S.O. could bring me a cutting of something, I admire that as I love to find treasures here and there, always digging up plants from roadside ditches and stuff. I have an uncle who would go into garden dept's in places like lowes and yank a small part off of a tree or something and take it home and grow it...that is a skill I admire.

There is no quicker way to tank a relationship with me than to buy me any kind of jewelry...bad associations with that from way back, it's a big no-no for me.

When I buy flowers, it's always for decorative purposes, and not for me specifically. The same with jewelry, I buy costume stuff to go with outfits. The purchase of precious stones is left up to my spouse, and vice versa, although neither of us are big jewelry freaks.
