After 6 years at my current job (with no chance of advancement really, and only two raises in that 6 years), I'm interviewing for another job. It's a longer commute, but will pay more money (plus, they'll cover the cost of a subway/commuter rail pass, so it'll still be more profitable).

It's a job with a computer/audio company instead of pharmaceutical (which is sweet because I'll no longer have to deal with FDA requirements, etc.).

It's very different from what I'm doing now, but I'm well qualified and a guy I used to work with years ago is involved in the hiring process, so I've got an in.

I've gone through the first 2 phone interviews/screen processes, and just have the manager of the department to talk to now.

So, any good vibes y'all wanna send would be VERY highly appreciated.

It's kind of freaky thinking about leaving a job after I've been here 6 years, but . . . well, this job would pay more, have room for advancement, and better benefits, so I think it's the right choice.
