9. Okay, back to Sharon Gless

My cable and internet was out last night, so I popped in the Cagney and Lacey DVD my son gave me for mother's day. As soon as I heard the theme music I got all nostalgic and remembered how happy it made me every week when that music would come on. What great actresses, both her and Tyne Daly were - what great chemistry they had.

I think she's looking a bit fitter than her Queer As Folk Days, but those glasses! She wore them when she was on the View plugging the DVD.

I always thought a great series would be Cagney and Lacy II - Cagney is retired in living in California, and Lacey's son Harv Jr. is now a private eye and they work together on cases. Yo, Bernie Rosensweig, ya listening?

Officially Season 1 was with Meg Foster. I always loved the fact that they replaced Meg Foster with Sharon Gless because they thought Meg Foster wasn't femmy enough - then along comes Sharon Gless and she plays the part tougher then Foster ever did.

got to go. I can't quite explain her look, but it's rather dated. She looks like one of those over the hill fashion designer people. I expected her to have a long cigarette holder.
