Got sucked into a Coulter/Edwards discussion at work with a freeper co-worker.

Freeper: "She was drawing a comparison between herself and Bill Maher, she was not calling for Edwards to be killed. But you read this LIBERAL CLAPTRAP (shaking NYT) so you don't know that."
Me: "But Maher was talking about how Dick Cheney's ordered deaths."
Freeper: "He did not. He's not the Commander in Chief." :wtf:
Me: "The point is, why would it be an analogous statement? What has Edwards done that it would be the same statement?"
Freeper: "She didn't make that statement!! It was a comparison with Bill Maher!"
Co-worker: "But Bill maher's a comedian so he's forgiven."
Freeper.: "No, Bill maher's a LIBERAL so he's forgiven."

Me: (storming out) "Maybe that's because liberals are only ever joking when they talk about killing someone whereas conservatives are dead serious."

ARRRGH! Can't believe I let myself get sucked into that!!!
